The CompVR takes superlative KICKER woofer technology and pounds it into a cutting-edge, bass machine for this year and beyond.
With know-how dating back to the legendary KICKER Competition Subwoofer, the CompVR’s newest upgrades perform at a threat level Homeland Security can’t even classify. CompVR’s dual voice coil and overall motor structure has been beefed up altogether – it’s able to take more heat, more abuse, and more power. The same high-temperature wire used in premium Solo-Baric voice coils has been used here. The motor’s top plate has taken on a more efficient design too, among other improvements.
A ribbed Santoprene® surround attaches this amazing motor to an injection-molded cone that refuses to die. Distortion in the cone is totally eliminated with new back bracing and an aluminized coating.
The tough look will turn your compadres’ heads. The silver-coated, stamped-steel basket is surrounded by a sharp logo trim piece that serves a dual purpose – it strengthens the surround completely while making an edgy design statement. Spring-loaded push terminals and perimeter venting are only a couple of KICKER standards that finish the picture. And the 10-inch CompVR is primed for an afternoon at sea or on the lake with its powder coating and stainless-steel hardware.
The KICKER CompVR Subwoofer arrives in four sizes, ranging from eight capable inches up to 15 mammoth ones. Load it in a sealed or vented box – the choice is yours.
